Schedule Format
- 12 teams, 14 week regular season
- Every team plays all 11 opponents exactly once before any rematches
- The final 3 weeks (12–14) are division matchups only
- Divisions based on prior season final standings: Top 4 • Mid 4 • Bot 4
- No back-to-back rematches against the same opponent
- Week 1 always opens with the prior season championship rematch
- Week 14 closes with the same matchup (the season bookend)
- Schedule rotates every year based on final standings
2026 Schedule Update
Starting in 2026 we overhauled how the schedule is built. The old format scattered rematches throughout the season. Sometimes teams would face each other again just a few weeks after their first game. The new format fixes that.
The big change: every team now plays every other team exactly once in weeks 1–11. No rematches until week 12. Weeks 12, 13, and 14 are all division matchups: top plays top, mid plays mid, bottom plays bottom.
Each Year
The schedule is built using the previous season's final standings. That hasn't changed.
Before
Rematches could happen as early as week 2 or 3, sometimes just 2 weeks after first meeting
Now
No rematch before week 12. Minimum 4 weeks between first meeting and rematch for 17 of 18 pairs
Weeks 12–14
The division rematch period. Each group plays out the rest of their games against the same teams they faced in weeks 1–11.

2015
Expanded from 10 to 12 teams. Adopted the Football Guys 12-team template and carried forward the fill-from-standings approach.

Adopted The Football Guys schedule template in season 2. Started filling in the prior year’s final standings each season so the matchup rotation changes every year.
